Telok Haven began as a response to a gap we kept observing — clients relocating to or moving within Singapore, presented with property listings but offered very little real guidance about where and how they might actually live. The process felt transactional where it should have been thoughtful.
Founded in 2016 from a modest office on Kheam Hock Road, we set out to do things differently. We built relationships with the landlords of Singapore's most distinctive homes — the Edwardian bungalows of Bukit Timah, the Peranakan shophouses of Joo Chiat, the quiet landed streets of Tanglin and Nassim. We walked every neighbourhood we advised on.
Eight years on, that foundational approach has not changed. What has grown is the depth of our network, the breadth of our neighbourhood knowledge, and the trust placed in us by clients who have become friends and, often, repeat residents who return when a new chapter in their Singapore life begins.
Our name comes from Telok Ayer — the old bay that once welcomed merchant vessels from across the spice routes. We find the parallel apt. Singapore has long been a destination for those seeking something excellent. We are simply here to help you find it.

Amelia Ng
Amelia has advised residential tenants in Singapore for over twelve years, with particular expertise in heritage conservation properties and the Tanglin and Nassim corridors. She founded Telok Haven to create a more personal alternative to larger agency models.
Rajan Chandra
With a background in estate law and seven years spent advising expat families relocating to Singapore, Rajan leads the firm's lease negotiation practice. His meticulous approach to documentation and term review has become a defining strength of the Telok Haven offering.
Serene Lim
Serene oversees the Heritage Home Concierge service, maintaining the network of specialist tradespeople and conservation contacts that makes the service possible. She has a particular fondness for Peranakan architecture and the East Coast shophouse precincts.
